To meet this need, the "iArmS" was created through observation of surgical sites, interviews with doctors, careful analysis, and much trial and error.

The "iArmS" is a surgical support robot that can "move," "stop," and "Intuitive" as if it were a part of the body.iArmS aims to maximize the doctor's concentration during surgery, and has achieved excellent operability, allowing the robot to move freely as if it were a part of the body.The robotic arm freely follows the position where the doctor wants to move his/her arm, and during surgery, the arm is firmly fixed to support the doctor's arm.
 

(Feature 1) Supports the surgeon's precise operations and provides shake reduction

Fingertip tremors and fatigue in micro-operation are major issues that cause a decline in the accuracy of procedures.The iArmS supports the physician's arm to reduce fatigue, alleviate mental and physical strain, and stabilize delicate tasks such as lexicography and resection.

 

(Feature 2) Without interrupting the surgical operation by operating switches, etc. Arm can be moved and secured in any desired position

The standard type can switch between two modes, 【Static】 and 【Dynamic】. 【Static】When the arm is not moved, it remains stationary at the desired position. "Tap" to Arm -holder move the arm. 【Dynamic】When the arm is not moved, it is stationary at the desired position, but if the arm is moved upward slightly, it can be moved to any location. At this time, the iArmS will automatically track. When you want to release the arm ,"tap" to Arm-holder stay the posision. *Except for foot switch type

 

(Feature 3) High safety

The "motor-less" structure, which is powered only by human power, is adopted. The movement is performed by the balance of gravity and arm movements without the use of a motor, and the structure can follow minute arm movements. This structure enables the high stability and light operability required in the medical field. In addition, the 5-axis structure provides wide-ranging support in accordance with the surgeon's arm movements. *Foot switch type switch is a foot switch.
